We are a Local, Non-Governmental Organization (LNGO)
HADAF Center for Research and Development Is an independent, non-government organization established in 2019 by a group of enthusiastic educated members of society, HADAF based in Badhan, Sanaag, Puntland state of Somalia but its activities are nation-wide.
HADAF focuses on research, Dialogue forums, Civic outreach and dialogues and to apply its findings for the protection and development of the society and its life.
We advocate to Social Development, civic education to promote human rights, rule of law, peace and sustainable development.
HADAF holds regular seminars, Dialogue Forums, conference, media campaigns, trainings, workshops on economic and social topics.
To contribute the transformation and social cohesion of the country through promoting and protecting the respect for human rights, empowering and motivating of the youth and vulnerable Groups through Education & Training, raise educational and awareness initiatives aimed the Peaceful coexistence among members of Somali society.
We spread the culture of dialogue and enhancing of transparency by supporting civil society development and advice the leaders to promote good governance and justice through publishing policy papers, holding debates, meetings and using media converges.
To become the leading Research, development and Media Center in the Horn of Africa most admired for its professionalism, excellence, and quality and impact of programs.
The goal of the center is as follows:
Strengthening the power of people to organize, mobilize and take action to confronting the challenges facing our community.
To Influence policy makers to promote justice, democracy and good governance through meetings and researches.
To carry out researches and studies on the cases and the issues of social development, the current challenges facing young people, human rights, democracy and good governance in the Somali society.
Raise educational and awareness initiatives aimed at different segments marginalized in Somali society in order to increase their awareness towards democracy and human rights in general and in particular their rights as a precondition for respect, and claim them, and defend them
To raise awareness among young people through public lectures and empowering other stakeholders (civil Organizations) to demand Accountability.
